A lock is only as strong as what you attach it to. The Kryptonite Stronghold bolts straight into a concrete floor or wall and gives you a fixed, hardened anchor point for your e-bike at home — garage, shed, storage cage or parking bay.

Sold Secure Diamond rated

Diamond is the highest rating Sold Secure awards. Many UK home and cycle insurance policies specify a minimum Sold Secure rating for bikes above a certain value, and some require the bike to be locked to an immovable object — worth checking your policy wording before you buy.

Built to resist attack

A hardened steel shackle on a heavy cast baseplate. Once the anchor is bolted down, three hardened ball bearings are hammered over the bolt heads and capped with cover disks, so the baseplate cannot simply be unbolted. A shell cover then conceals the fixings entirely.

Fitting

Designed for solid concrete. You will need a hammer drill or heavy-duty power drill, and the fixing holes go 58.8 mm (2.31") deep. Kryptonite specifically warns against fitting to hollow, soft or porous building block or house brick — those materials are not strong enough to hold the anchor under attack. Wear eye protection when drilling.
